Hudson, Florida -- UPDATE: Pasco County Sheriff's deputies say David Evans who went missing Sunday after taking off into a wooded area in Hudson has been found.

Deputies say he was found in the woods and was taken to an area hospital for evaluation. He was in fair condition at the time he was found early Tuesday morning.

Police are searching for a man with a head injury who took off into the woods near Brave Lane in Hudson Sunday.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say 45-year-old David Evans began acting disoriented and delusional after suffering from the injury on July 3. Then, on July 7 around 3 p.m., Evans refused his family's request to seek medical attention and fled from his home in the 10500 block of Brave Lane and into the surrounding woods.

Evans is described as 5'7" and weighs 140 pounds. He has a snake tattoo on his left forearm and was last seen wearing a blue UF Gators shirt, gray/black pants and barefoot.

Pasco County patrol units, an air unit, agricultural unit and a bloodhound from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office are in the process of searching the area.
