Isolated showers will be more likely over the nature coastovernightinto Wednesday morning. A series of upper level disturbances will result in a 50% chance of rain Wednesday for Pasco northward while areas south of Tampa have a 30% chance of rain.

Moist SW flow will spark some showers early near the coast Wednesday as they push into interior parts of the state by the afternoon. Rain chances will be on the increase to 40% for all areas by Thursday and into the weekend.

A system in the eastern Atlantic has a 70% chance of becoming a tropical storm. It is south of the Cape Verde Islands and appears to have the hallmarks of a tropical depression. If the circulation continues and convection develops near the center it may be upgraded soon by forecasters at the National Hurricane Center.
