St. Petersburg, Florida - Mayor Bill Foster and Rays owner Stu Sternberg have been meeting with city attorneys and team officials to come up with an agreement that would allow the Tampa Bay Rays to explore other possible locations for a new stadium.
The Tampa Tribune reports that these discussions have brought up a proposal in which the Rays would be allowed to explore sites in Tampa and Hillsborough County. For that to happen thoughSt. Petersburg City Council Chairman Karl Nurse stated that the Rays would have to conduct an extensive review of the propose site in Carillon.
