Tampa, FL-- The Bucs opened training camp Thursday morning, in the second year of the Greg Schiano era.

The team practiced for about 2 and a half hours, before Schiano cut practice a little short. Cloudy skies kept the temperature down slightly.

Four players coming off serious injuries, were in uniform, although limited in their activities... Adrian Clayborn, Davin Joseph, Carl Nicks, and Darrelle Revis.

"This situation here with Coach Schiano and Todd Toriscelli, our trainer, is just trying to ease me in and progress from there," Revis said after the workout. "That's the biggest thing at this stage, and take it day by day... I think that's what we're doing is focusing on day by day, and progressing."

The Bucs haven't decided if Revis will play in the preseason.

Josh Freeman and Mike Williams hooked up for the play of the day, a 50-yard bomb that Williams caught one-handed.

"Until you go and play the game, you're not in game, or football, condition," Schiano said. "So we started now going from being in good physical condition, to being in football shape."

Practice on Friday begins at 8:45am. It's free, and open to the public. The popular Saturday night practice begins at 6:30pm, at Raymond James Stadium. It will be in full pads.
