A broad trough of low pressure in the Gulf of Mexico will continue to bring abundant moisture to Florida on Sunday with heavy rain at times. Plenty of moisture along with a southeasterly flow will push storms into the Tampa Bay metro area Sunday afternoon, with a 60% storm coverage across the entire viewing area.

A predominantly easterly flow will stay in place through the workweek, favoring late afternoon/early evening showers and storms for areas west of I-75.
