Showers and storms across the region willdiminish in coverage across the Bay area after 2 AM.Easterly winds will push the remaining storms toward the coast and then offshore. Overnight, expect mostly cloudy skies, with a low of 77 degrees.

The pattern will be similar on Monday with a 50% chance of mid-afternoon to late evening storms for most areas. Rain chances will be higher for areas west of I-75 with 60% coverage.

A newly formed tropical wave located between the coast of Africa and the Cape Verde Islands has been designated as Invest 94-L. The National Hurricane Center is giving the area of showers and storms a 10% chance of development in the next 48 hours.

Another area of disturbed weather near the lesser Antilles will continue to move west at 10 miles per hour and could bring rainy weather to the southeastern Bahamas late this week.
