Panda is a four year old shepherd/ collie mix whose previous owners took her to Hillsborough County Animal Services because they were expecting to have a new baby. She was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding so the Suncoast Animal League stepped in to give her another chance at life.

When Panda first arrived at our office, she was shy, far too skinny, and had hair loss due to neglect... which certainly had nothing to do with the upcoming baby.

She is so sweet and gentle! She is gaining weight, confidence and is finally learning what fun it is to be a real family member! She loves to take walks and is good on a leash. She enjoys playing ball and running free in a fenced yard (which will be an adoption requirement for her).

Panda is eager to please and is quickly learning basic commands, sleeps in her crate and is fully house trained. She really loves meal time, treat time and practicing commands for her treats.

Sweet Panda wants nothing more than to be part of a family where she can give and receive lots of love. She does get along with other dogs, but really wants a lot of individual attention to make up for the lost time in her early years. We have not tested her with cats yet.

She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and is ready to find her forever home.

Panda is spending her days in a foster home while wishing for her very own family to love. Please contact Suncoast Animal League at 727-786-1330 to schedule an appointment to meet her.
