Clearwater, Florida -- Testimony is under way in the murder trial of "Hiccup Girl" Jennifer Mee.

Looking more like a prep girl than a murder suspect, Mee entered court Thursday morning, flanked by deputies.Family and friends sat in the gallery, listening as experts in firearms, DNA and medicalexamination testified.

After a lunch recess, a phone call was played to jurors of Mee talking to her mom and dad as she was being booked into jail. When she tells each parent separately that she's charged with first degree murder, they respond by asking, "Who did you kill?"

"I didn't do nothing," Mee replies, saying she was in the wrong place at the wrong time, and that this wasn't the way it was supposed to happen.

Mee gained national attention back in 2007 for having a continual case of hiccups. Now she is on trial for first-degree murder, accused of helping two men lure Shannon Griffin to a house in St. Petersburg three years ago, with the intention of robbing him.

Griffin, 22, was shot dead. If convicted, Mee could spend the rest of her life in prison.
