Pasco County, Florida -- Florida Highway Patrol is currently investigating an incident where a 14-year-old boy was hit by a car while waiting for the school bus.

Friday morning, Pasco Sheriff's Deputies responded to the area of Kimberly Oaks in Holiday. When they arrived they found the boy with an ankle injury. Reportedly, the child was by the side of the road waiting for a bus when a vehicle hit him.

The child was transported to a Bay area hospital with minor injuries. The driver said the sun was in her eyes and she didn't see him.
