Clearwater, Florida -- Pinellas County deputies arrested a suspect that fled from them during a traffic stop.
During the stop on Belleair Causeway Bridge, authorities say 34-year-old Robert Tebow jumped over the bridge's railing.
The traffic stop was initiated because Tebow was allegedly speeding. While the deputy was researching Tebow's identification in his patrol car, Tebow reportedly ran to the railing of the bridge and jumped over.
Authorities conducted an extensive search for Tebow, who is a transient. He was located by members of the Violent Crimes Task Force in South Pasadena Wednesday evening and taken into custody without incident.
He is charged with fleeing and eluding, providing a false name to law enforcement, and felony driving while license suspended or revoked.
