Tampa, Florida-- Planning on purchasing a pumpkin to prepare for fall? Don't miss the Humane Society of Tampa Bay's annual patch- where proceeds benefit some of the Bay Area's homeless pets!

Starting October 5 and lasting through October 31, the Humane Society grounds will double as a Halloween haven stocked with plenty of pumpkins, painted jack-o-lanterns and festive fall decor for sale.

Prices for petite pumpkins start at just $1, with more grandiose gourds going for up to $20. All proceeds go to the pets in the Society's care.

The shelter address is 3607 N. Armenia Avenue. The pumpkin patch will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and between noon and 7 p.m. each Tuesday through Friday. The shelter is closed on Mondays.
