Largo, Florida -- A man who fled the country just days after a car crash that killed two of his friends is back in Florida to face serious charges.
Largo police say on Christmas day 2011, Diego Cavalieri was driving with alcohol and THC in his system and going nearly twice the speed limit when he lost control of the car on Indian Rocks Road and crossed in front of a Buick.

The Buick t-boned Cavalieri's Ford, killing two people and seriously injuring another two.
Cavalieri has been extradited from Uruguay and booked into the Pinellas County Jail.He faces numerous charges, including vehicular homicide.
