Tarpon Springs, Florida -- The holidays are behind us. Why not start off the New Year by recycling your old Christmas tree?

The City of Tarpon Springs Sanitation Division will collect old trees and turn them into useful mulch. Before you toss it out though, make sure all the decorations and ornament hooks are removed. Do not bag the tree or put it into a container.
