(Florida Today)-- SpaceX has confirmed plans for a 5:06 p.m. Monday launch of a Falcon 9 rocket carrying a Thai broadcasting satellite from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
The launch of Thaicom 6 had been planned for today, but SpaceX pushed it back to perform more rocket inspections.
The latest forecast calls for brisk and breezy conditions, but only a 20 percent chance that strong winds could prevent a launch during a window that extends to 7:17 p.m. EST.
If the mission does not launch Monday, another attempt can be made Tuesday.
The Air Force's 45th Space Wing had previously said Wednesday was the next available opportunity, following a Tuesday launch from Virginia that presented a range conflict. That conflict apparently has been resolved.
