(USA TODAY) -- While the half-way shotFast & Furious 7figures out how to move on without Paul Walker, the late actor's other planned projects have gone to re-casting.
Varietyreportsthat Rupert Friend (you recognize him from HBO'sHomeland) will star in the upcomingAgent 47, which would have featured Walker, whodied in late Novemberin a car crash.The Hollywood ReporterandE! Newssay Friend is "in talks" at this point to join the cast of the movie, which is a sequel to 2007'sHitman.
James Marsden has reportedly been tapped for another Walker role in the movie adaption of Nicholas Sparks'The Best of Me, and the actor is in "early talks" to take on the role, according toTHR. Michelle Monaghan, originally cast as the female lead in the film, will stay on.
Walker's last complete film,Hours, wasreleased as scheduledon Dec. 13 in select cities.
