Jersey City, NJ -- Former Tampa Bay Buccaneer Michael Bennett will enjoy his moment in the sun at Super Bowl XLVIII.

Bennett is a starting defensive end for the Seattle Seahawks. He signed as a free agent before this season, just one season, for $5 million. The Bucs didn't want to re-sign him, figuring Da'Quan Bowers was ready to play every down.

Bennett played sparingly at the beginning season, then took off with more playing time.

"A lot of teams have good defensive players, but what makes us different is we play for each other and we're all playing on the same page," Bennett told reporters on Monday. "We all know where we're going to be at ... We've played so many games, when we go out on Sunday, we know where each other's going to be at."

And as far as the Super Bowl atmosphere in New Jersey, Bennett said, "It's just like being in the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory right now ... all I see is cameras, lights, and chocolates."

Tuesday is Media Day at the Super Bowl.
