Tampa, Florida - With more and more people wanted to learn the craft of sewing a locally owned store Keep Me in Stitches has moved their South Tampa location into a larger building.

The new shop features 500 sq. ft. of classrooms, a bistro fit for social sewers, is fully stocked with the latest in sewing technology, the highest quality notions and premium fabrics.

Keep Me in Stitches moved three blocks down from their previous Kennedy Boulevard location.

In celebration of the grand opening, employees and volunteers participated in a stitch-a-thon with the goal of stitching 24-modern quilts in a 24-hour time period. Quilts were presented to moms and babies from the Alpha House of Tampa.

On Friday, Melissa Helms, Owner of Keep Me In Stitches along withLyn Shipman a volunteer who sewed 17 hours straight presented the quilts to Patricia Langford, Executive Director of Alpha House of Tampa.
