Seffner, Florida -- Hillsborough County Commission will receive a staff report on plans for the land surrounding a sinkhole in Seffner that opened and swallowed a man, killing him almost a year ago.

The owners of the three lots surrounding the sinkhole have agreed to turn their property over to the county.

At a county commissioners meeting on Wednesday, plans will be evaluated to pay real estate taxes for the land... and install a plaque to honor Jeff Bush.

Next Friday marks one year since Bush lost his life when the sinkhole opened beneath his bedroom as he slept.
