Tampa, Florida -- Student groups from USF are packing Thursday's Board of Trustees meeting to demand in-state tuition for undocumented students.

Bulls for Tuition Equity called on students, faculty and allies to attend the meeting to demand financial aid for undocumented students who graduated from U.S. high schools

Currently many states deny undocumented high school students in-state tuition, even if they meet all other residency requirements.

The Board claims equality for undocumented students is "beyond their purview," although Florida International University and Miami-Dade University have implemented in-state tuition for undocumented students.
