DUNEDIN, Fla. (AP) - As the race to fill Congressman C.W. Bill Young's seat comes to a close, one thing is certain: the results will be close.
Democrat Alex Sink and Republican David Jolly have acknowledged in recent days that both polls and early voting show that there's a razor-thin margin between them.
But there's one unknown in the campaign: Libertarian candidate Lucas Overby.
The 27-year old commercial diver has received 5 to 6 percent of the vote in recent polls, and 12 percent in one poll.
Overby says he's "broken through the glass ceiling" that third-party candidates have traditionally had in the Tampa Bay area, and is pleased that he's been treated like an equal in debates and forums.
The special election is Tuesday.
