Tarpon Springs, Florida -- Twice in the past month, residents along Old Keystone Road and Meadows Drive have been hit with flooding due to heavy rains. 10 News went out again on Monday and saw the horrible conditions have returned.

The county admitted a construction project at the water treatment plant nearby shut down a pump station a few months ago. They say they hope to pump the water out and see if clearing out drainage ditches helps.

In anticipation of heavy rains today, the City of Tarpon Springs is offering up sandbags to residents in low-lying areas that typically suffer flooding conditions on days like this.

Residents can pick up sandbags at the roundabout area at Dodecanese Boulevard and Roosevelt Boulevard, and at Dog Park located at Safford and Live Oak Street.
