I grew up in Los Angeles, and my parents still live Burbank. In Burbank, we'd often see Jay Leno cruising all the time on one of his choppers or fancy cars!
I hopped from an associate producer position at KSWB FOX5 in San Diego to my first on-air job in Idaho Falls as a reporter/anchor. Next I became a reporter in Tulsa, Oklahoma at KOKI FOX23. After a couple years, I looked at the Gulf and wanted to start my next chapter in Tampa Bay. I came to 10 News in June, 2013.
I am honored to say I was named an honorary Lady Rider by the Patriot Guard Riders of Oklahoma for my coverage highlighting the military community there. The Patriot Guards are veteran military motorcyclists who ride in support of our troops and vets. I was a local ambassador for the American Diabetes Association in Tulsa. I volunteered and emceed at many of the ADA's fundraising events in the area.
When I'm not reporting, you may find me volunteering at the American Diabetes Association, running along Bay Shore with my boyfriend, cooking, working on my arts and crafts projects, and hopefully finding the best sushi places in town!
What I love about Tampa Bay are the beaches! I love shopping and listening to live music in South Tampa or downtown St. Pete. I love trying new places to eat and new experiences. I have already experienced the love bugs though, and that is enough of that experience! I also love being in a city where there are some big sports teams!
