I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma but raised in McKinney, Texas, about 20 miles north of Dallas.
Prior to my time as 10 News Traffic Anchor, I hosted "Studio 10," anentertainment program at WTSP. I also worked as Sports Director and main Sports Anchor at The Villages News Network outside Ocala, Florida for three years and spent time producing morning news at Texas Cable News in Dallas.
While with The Villages News Network, I was honored to win an Associated Press Award for Community Affairs reporting. I also enjoy membership in one of the nation's premiere entertainment criticism organizations, the Broadcast Film Critics Association.
When I'm not at work, I love spending time with my husband Matt and our two mischievous cats. I love to run, write, sew andplay piano.
I love the small town feel of Tampa Bay. I love being able to walk into almost any businessin the area and see a familiar, friendly face. The gorgeous views from our beaches and waterfront communities don't hurt either. This is a community like no other, and I am proud to call it home.
I'm the mother of an amazing, beautiful, miraculous baby boy, and wife to a loving and supportive Tampa Bay sports nut.
