PARIS (AP) - French President Francois Hollande is warning that Boko Haram has "heavy weapons of an unimaginable sophistication and the ability to use them."

He says the Islamic militant group in Nigeria also has ample funds and has trained with some of the world's most experienced terrorists.

Hollande says it's not clear where the group is getting its money, but weapons have come from chaotic Libya and training took place in Mali before the ouster of its al-Qaida-linked Islamist leaders.

He says Boko Haram has clearly established ties with other terror groups in Africa, making it a concern throughout the continent and beyond.

Hollande spoke at a Paris summit with officials from the U.S., Europe and Africa on how to deal with the group that's holding more than 200 schoolgirls hostage. Intelligence officials shared information while heads of state and top diplomats discussed policy.

Participants agreed to improve policing of frontiers, share intelligence and trace the weapons and cash that are the group's lifeblood.
