Lakeland, Florida -- A Lakeland man was arrested on charges he sexually abused two young children and videotaped it.
Polk County Sheriff's deputies arrested Benjamin Cuadrado at his home on Country Club Road Tuesday after receiving the results of an investigation conducted by the Department of Homeland Security Investigations.
The arrest affidavit said HSI agents recovered six videos -- four originals and two duplicates -- depicting an infant male being sexually abused by an adult male who investigators later positively identified as Cuadrado.
While in police custody, Polk deputies say Cuadrado, 40, admitted to sexually abusing two victims, ages two years old and 13 months old, and taping it.
Detectives say Cuadrado will face more charges in addition to the two counts of sexual battery on a child under 12 years old he was charged with Tuesday.
"This man is a monster. There are no other words to describe him. We commend the Department of Homeland Security for tenaciously following the trail that led to his arrest," Sheriff Grady Judd said following Cuadrado's arrest.
He is currently being held without bond.
