Tampa, Florida -- The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for two suspects who robbed a 90-year-old man by pretending to be roof repair men.
On April 11, the two suspects arrived at the victim's home in the area of Manhattan and Hanna. They represented themselves as roof repair men and force their way into the home. One suspect pushed the man to the ground and held him there while the other ransacked the master bedroom, taking jewelry.
The suspects fled in a newer model Chevrolet Silverado extended cab with after market chrome rims. There is also a Tonneau type cover over the bed of the truck.
The victim was not injured during the invasion.
Both suspects are described as white males, between 30-49 years of age, approximately 5'7" and 150-180 lbs.
