Manatee County, Florida -- The animal cruelty case of Alan and Sheree Napier continues to unfold with more charges pending and more arrests.
The Napiers' arrest warrant lists their long-time veterinarian as Edward Dunham. Police say he also faces an animal cruelty charge for an incident on Dec. 22. The warrant states Dunham and Alan Napier caused a dog "unnecessary pain or suffering."
During first appearance Friday, Judge Charlie Roberts told the Napiers they cannot have any contact with animals. Sheree has posted a $21,000 bond, but Alan remains in jail. Both are charged with 15 counts of animal cruelty. Alan also faces a fraud charge.
On Feb. 5, deputies removed more than 300 animals from the Napiers' home for poor living conditions.
