Tampa, Florida -- A former school bus driver for Hillsborough County will see no jail time for a 2012 incident where she literally kicked an 8-year-old girl off the bus, which led to the child breaking her leg.
Stephanie Wilkerson pleaded guilty to third degree child abuse. She was originally charged with aggravated child abuse, but the charges were lessened after it was determined the child's injuries were not as severe as originally thought.
School bus video shows the autistic child from Tampa Bay Boulevard Elementary unwilling to step off the bus back on September 28, 2012 and being physically kicked out of the vehicle by Wilkerson.
