Tampa, Florida -- McDonald's restaurants in the Tampa Bay area are continuing their annual tradition of offering free breakfast to students taking the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT) on April 22.
The food chain is inviting students and teachers to come in for a complimentary breakfast from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Teachers will need to show a valid teacher ID card.
The breakfast includes an Egg McMuffin and apple slices with a choice of one percent milk or a small orange juice.
This is the fifth consectuive year McDonald's has offered free breakfast to students. Last year, local restaurants served more than 23,000 people on exam day.
