Tampa, Florida -- A terminally ill Tampa father is able to see his youngest son graduate from high school, but in a very special ceremony.
Corey Varnedoe is a senior at Robinson High School was worried his father wouldn't live to seem him receive his diploma. But with the help of the school administration Corey was able to have a personal graduation ceremony at home.
"This was my main goal is for him to see that I will actually be that next step -- closer to being successful. I won't be a failure in life, so he can leave with at least some good thoughts," Corey said.
After high school, Corey plans to follow in his older brother's footsteps and join the Air Force.
