Pinellas County, Florida -- All lanes are back open on Ulmerton Road in Largo, after a chemical spill caused traffic headaches on Tuesday morning.

Swimming pool chlorine reportedly spilled across the road near Belcher Road before 8 a.m. AHazMat crew on scene used a powdery substance to help absorb the chemical spill.

The swimming pool chemicals damaged the roadway, and DOT officials were called out to make repairs. Westbound lanes were closed for several hours, but were back open before noon.

Sky 10 video shows a trail of the substance beginning in the left lane, and then cutting across into the right lane.
