Zephyrhills, Florida -- A Zephyrhills woman claimed a $3 million prize in the SUPER MILLIONS Scratch-off game at Florida Lottery headquarters Tuesday.
Lottery officials say Johnnie Wood, 45, chose to receive the winnings in a one-time, lump-sum payment of over $2.1 million.
Wood bought her ticket at Rightway Foods on County Road 54 in Zephyrhills, which will receive a bonus commission of $6,000 for selling the winning ticket.
SUPER MILLIONS, which launched last month, is currently one of the Florida Lottery's top-selling Scratch-Off games, according to lottery officials. The $20 game features more than $300 million in total cash prizes and 6.7 million winning tickets. There are 10 top prizes of $3 million remaining.
The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-2.97.
