St. Petersburg, Florida -- A man suffered multiple lacerations after police say his pit bull attacked him as he argued with his teenage daughter.
Pinellas Sheriff's deputies say the dog's owner, 50-year-old Hai Trinh Dang, was arguing with his 16-year-old daughter through the door of her bedroom when the pit bull, who was in the bedroom with the teen, became agitated due to the raised voices.
Once Hai Trinh Dang opened his daughter's bedroom door, the pit bull began to attack him.
Police were called and EMS and deputies arrived on scene. Dang was taken to a local hospital to be treated for lacerations to his scalp, arm, hand and leg.
Animal services was contacted and took possession of the pit bull.
