St. Petersburg, Florida -- On Monday, 36,000 runners will line up at the Boston Marathon finish line.
Many of them didn't cross the finish line last year because of the deadly bombings.
That includes the Milligans. Last year, they were running for a cause close to their hearts -- Boston Children's Hospital. It's where their two children had surgery to help align severely turned in legs.
The two kids were waiting at the finish line for their parents last year when the bombs went off. It took the family two and a half hours to reunite in the chaos, but a year later they're ready to go back.
The couple's children will be at the finish line again this year, cheering when their parents cross it.
The Milligans are two of 84 runners on the Boston Children's Hospital team who didn't finish the race and are returning to the course this year.
