Tampa, Florida -- We're learning more about the family of four feared dead after yesterday's house fire in Avila.

Darrin Campbell, who was renting the Avila house from pro tennis star James Blake, worked at a company headquartered in the Port Authority office center. Vastec Inc. digitizes government documents and does other digital scanning. Darrin Campbell was the chief operating officer.

Now we're learning more about his wife Kimberly from her father.

"It's a tremendous loss and it's just hard to explain," Kimberly Campbell's father, Gordon Lambie said.

Those are words from a father who fears his daughter Kimberly, son in law Darrin, grandson Colin, and granddaughter Megan were killed in Wednesday's house fire in Avila.

He says he always knew his grandson was an athlete.

"I fully expected that he (Colin) would sometime end up in pro baseball, but he was a good kid. He was a handsome young man," Lambie said.

Colin's baseball teammate, Deshun Bolling, also misses him.

"I just want to know why, why was he taken away from our team? Why was he taken away from this earth so soon?," Bolling said. "We honestly can't believe it. For it to happen to somebody that nice is unreal."

Deshun says Colin, who was heading to his senior prom soon, came from the kindest family he's known.

"They were dearly loved by everyone."

And Colin's sister Megan was "Sweet. She was just a sweet little girl," he said.

When Bolling heard from a teammate Colin had died in the Wednesday fire, he had one question.

"Not just only him though, I want to know why everybody was taken away so fast."

Kimberly's father Gordon says she was a stay at home mom, devoted to her children, and that his son-in-law Darrin was a born leader.

The couple met in Lansing Michigan where they were both legislative aides.
