St. Petersburg, Florida -- Fire Rescue crews responded to calls of a fire at the fort at Fort DeSoto Park Monday evening.

As of 7:25 p.m., most of the fire, that was reportedly about 100 feet long and 20 feet wide in size, was under control.

St. Pete Fire Rescue says brush on top of the fort caught fire, but the cause is not yet known.

So far, no injuries have been reported.
