TAMPA, FL. (AP) - A Hillsborough County prosecutor says that one of the reasons a Tampa woman might have fatally shot her teenagers is because she was upset with her husband. During Julie Schenecker's trial on Monday, prosecutor Jay Pruner cross examined a psychiatrist who evaluated Schenecker. Dr. Michael Maher said Schenecker was angry at her husband, but also thought he was a "great guy."

The doctor said 53-year-old military mom gave contradictory feelings and statements because of her bipolar disorder with psychotic features.

Schenecker is charged with two counts of first-degree murder. The state is not seeking the death penalty, and contends that Schenecker knew right from wrong when she bought a gun and shot her 16-year-old daughter Calyx and her 13-year-old son Beau in January of 2011.

The trial continues Tuesday.
