Dunedin, Florida -- Detectives are investigating an apparent homicide at Summit Way in Dunedin.

The investigation began after a random traffic stop, during which the suspect, Arthur DeCarvalho, made comments that led police to the home at 1658 Summit Way. Upon arrival the found David Elsey dead from upper body trauma.

Reportedly, Elsey and DeCarvalho met online. DeCarvalho has been charged with first degree murder and transported to the Pinellas County Jail.
