Winter Haven, FL--A 12-year-old Winter Haven girl, Valansia Ceqile, has been missing from her home in the Jan Phyl Village area since Friday night, June 27th, at approximately 11:00 p.m.

Valansia walked away from her home after she and her mother argued over Valansia's cell phone. Valansia's cell phone was left at the residence.

Deputies responded and searched the area using a Polk County Sheriff's Office bloodhound and a helicopter.

The bloodhound tracked a short distance from the residence to a vacant home. The vacant home was searched with negative results.

Deputies interviewed neighbors. One of them reported seeing a girl resembling Valansia get into a gray Jeep in the area of Hatfield Road and 5th Street, Jan Phyl Village, at around 11:30 p.m. Valansia was not positively identified, and witnesses reported that the girl getting into the Jeep was talking and laughing with the two occupants of the Jeep SUV.

Valansia's mother told deputies she did not know anyone who drives a gray SUV.

No further description of the SUV is available.

Deputies are forensically analyzing Valansia's phone and a laptop from the residence.

Photos have been distributed to area law enforcement and flyers have been distributed in the area.

Valansia's whereabouts are still unknown at this time.

The Sheriff's Office is asking for help in locating Valansia.
