Pinellas Park, Florida -- Police are investigating a stabbing that left two men injured in Pinellas Park.
According to police, a woman called 911 Sunday night saying that her 37-year-old son had stabbed her 32-year-old nephew and then turned the knife on himself.
Police say that when the woman arrived home on Sunday, she had a brief conversation with her son, Olin Hess. Hess had been complaining most of the day that he did not want his cousin, Timothy Adams, to be in the house. He gave no reason for his feelings and told his mother that he wanted Adams out of the home.
When she refused to make Adams leave, Hess allegedly told her that he would stab him. Hess went into his bedroom and when he exited, he was armed with a knife. Hess then went into the room that Adams was in and stabbed him in the chest.
Officers say Hess fled after stabbing his cousin. He had a knife in his chest when officers found him.
Both men were taken to the hospital, where Adams stable and Hess has more serious injuries.
Police say Hess will face charges of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.
