Kenneth City, Florida -- A Bay area family is relocatingafter dealing with a soggy situation at their Kenneth City apartment.

Michelle Thomas has lived in her apartment for the past couple of months and everything's been pretty normal, until last week when a hole the size of a hot tub opened up in her living room, and heavy summer rains have made the problems even worse.

"It's approximately a 10x10-foot hole," she says.

Thomas says she first noticed a leak in her roof a few weeks back, but never expected this.

Her complex is managed by Avesta properties and they tell us they offered Thomas new keys to a new apartment after they were notified of the hole.

Thomas signed a lease to her new apartment hours after showing 10 News the hole.
