Tampa, Florida -- A teenager is in the hospital after police say he was shot over a very expensive piece of clothing.
The 16-year-old was riding his bike home in the 4200 block of Chestwood Court when he was allegedly confronted by an unknown suspect who demanded the teen's belt buckle. The victim turned over the property -- valued at $250 -- and then began to run away. That's when police say the robber shot him in the back.
The teen was taken to Tampa General Hospital, where he is in fair condition. The gunman is still at large.
The suspect is described as a black male about 6 feet tall and weighing 160 pounds. He was last seen wearing tan shorts, a leather jacket and wielding a black revolver.
