St. Petersburg, Florida -- A woman called police after she had a fight with her partner and wanted to get her stuff back. She also brought police to a house because she knew it contained a large amount of marijuana and guns.

On Wednesday around 8:12 pm, a woman called police because she had a fight with 59-year-old Bruce Chainay, and she wanted to retrieve her belongings from his house.

When officers arrived at the home on 31st St. South, they waited for the woman to arrive. She told them Chainay had marijuana and guns inside the home. When Chainay arrived the woman went inside the house to a guest bedroom closet, and pulled out a large baggie full of marijuana to show officers. Inside the home officers found:

  • 27 lbs of marijuana
  • 16 guns: 11 rifles, 2 handguns, 3 bb guns in the closet.
  • $38,000 cash
  • Several thousand rounds of ammunition.

Chainay was booked into the Pinellas County Jail for armed trafficking in marijuana.
