Tampa, Florida -- A 63-year-old Tampa faces charges of molesting youngster in 1980, and it is the second time this year he faces that charge.
James Jerome Larkin, 63, of Tampa, is charged in the current case with capital sexual battery on a child under 12. He is being held without bail in the Orient Road Jail.
According to Hillsborough sheriff's detectives, during the follow up investigation of Larkin's molestation arrest in April, a man came forward and accused Larkin of molesting him while he was a child.

The victim said on an unknown date in 1980, while he was 10 years old, he was sleeping at Larkin's apartment in Carrollwood when Larkin climbed into the bed and sexually assaulted and molested him, according to the sheriff's office.

In the April case, Larkin befriended a teenage boy and his mother after the father had died. Larkin, who was babysitting the boy while the mother was out of town, then entered the child's room and molested him in March. Larkin is charged with lewd of lascivous molestation on a victim under 18 in that case.
Larkin at the time was the principal at Tampa Day School, which the boy was attending.
During that investigation, there was a recorded call between Larkin and the child during which Larkin admitted to the allegations and that his actions were inappropriate, the sheriff's office said.
