Pinellas County, Florida -- St. Pete Police have arrested the man believed to be the person responsible for two Pinellas Trail robberies that occurred back in May and June of 2014.
Stephon Farrar was arrested in St. Louis, Missouri on September 3, on outstanding warrants charging him with three counts of robbery. Two counts are relate to the incidents which took place on the Pinellas Trail back in May and June of this year.
Detectives believe that on May 20, Farrar robbed a 16-year-old man on the Trail near 13th Avenue North and 70 Street, threatening him with a taser and then taking his cell phone.
Then on June 21, Farrar is believed to have rob a pizza delivery driver at gunpoint in the area of 5 Avenue South and 51st Street.
And on June 23, Farrar committed a strong arm robbery on a 15-year-old man on the Pinellas Trail in the vicinity of 13th Avenue North and 70th Street, again taking a cell phone.
Arrangements for extradition back to the Pinellas County are ongoing.
