Orlando, Florida -- Lawmakers in central Florida want Florida Fish and Wildlife to say yes to bear hunts.

The request comes after two recent bear attacks on humans in Seminole County.

The FWC says it will consider a letter signed by 12 lawmakers that proposes hunts in certain "hot spot" areas, and having waste management companies provide bear-proof trash cans.

Bear hunting was completely outlawed in Florida in 1994.
