Orlando, Florida -- A malfunction on Universal Orlando's Transformers ride stranded 12 passengers Tuesday afternoon.

An Orlando Fire Department spokesperson said the ride malfunctioned, but there was no fire. Nobody was injured.

Rescuers removed each of the riders one-by-one using a safety harness and rope. The rescue took about 16 minutes.

Transformers: The Ride - 3D debuted last summer. The attraction simulates a high-speed battle between large robots.
