Tampa, Florida -- A Tampa pastor came to the rescue of one of his parishioners, after the woman had gotten stranded in her car during Friday's floods in Tampa.
Patsy Footman's car stalled out in water near 30th Street, north of Busch Gardens. That's when she decided to call her pastor.
"The water was all the way to the brim, and I couldn't leave her there, I'm her pastor," he tells 10 News. "She called, and I can't leave a child of God in the flood."
He adds, "It was scary, I thought she was going to drown. The water was up to the windshield and there was nowhere anybody could go."
The inside of the car was totally ruined with water. The pastor and some friends used a pickup truck to pull her car out of the water.
