Tampa, Florida -- The band Huey Lewis and The News packed A La Carte Pavilion in Tampa to help raise big bucks for The Moffitt Cancer Center.
Hundreds of people had a ball at one of the area's top charity events. In fact, Moffitt Cancer Center expects the Magnolia Ball to raise $3 million dollars.
The money supports cutting edge patient care, research, and education at Moffitt Cancer Center.
Our own 10 News anchor Heather Van Nest was one of the 700 people who attended the Magnolia Ball. Former Bucs head coach, Jon Gruden also attended.
Make sure you join 10 News next weekend for Miles for Moffitt. It will be held Saturday, May 10 at USF.
