Valrico, Florida -- Hillsborough Sheriff's deputies are searching for a missing teenager who they say may be in the company of a registered sex offender.
Deputies say around 4 p.m. on June 11, 16-year-old Ashley Lyon left her home at 4705 Water Lark Way in Valrico and has not been seen or heard from since.
Ashley has been diagnosed as bi-polar and did not take her medications with her.
Deputies say Ashley may be in the company of Florida registered sexual offender, 41-year-old Steven Patrick Myers who resides at 6801 N. Dormany Road in Plant City.
Ashley was last seen wearing black tank top, black gym shorts, black "Vans" sneakers and may be in a 1989 Ford Ranger pick up truck with flames painted on the front and sides. The pick up should have a Florida Tag CSJ-M45. Lyon may be in the southeastern area of Hillsborough County.
On Saturday, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a Missing Child Alert.
